Senior Creative & Studio Leader

Complex thinking,
made obvious.

I build the ideas, systems and teams that turn complex subjects into clear, compelling brands, content and experiences – across science, culture, public policy and commercial organisations.

00 Profile

Creative ambition.
Operational discipline.

For more than 25 years I have led work where creative direction meets organisational reality: defining briefs, shaping strategy, assembling specialist teams, managing budgets and translating difficult subjects into experiences people can understand and use.

My practice moves between brand, editorial, digital products, motion, exhibitions and public communication. The medium changes; the aim stays consistent – make the underlying idea unmistakably clear.

A creative system that moves with the organisation

NEOS · Parliamentary Club · NEOS Lab

Long-term embedded creative leadership since 2014 across a national party, parliamentary group, regional organisations and think tank. The work spans campaigns, identity systems, policy publications, animation, events, information design and production – adapting as the organisation moved from parliamentary newcomer to federal government.

Organisational growth describes the context and complexity of the work; it is not a claim that design caused electoral outcomes.

Giving national reform a coherent public language

Austrian Federal Ministry of Education · Plan Zukunft

Developed the complete visual system and designed the full publication for Austria’s national education reform programme. The work turns a dense, multi-part policy agenda into an editorial and information system with a clear hierarchy and a recognisable public voice.

Strategy that survives the change of channel

Salzburg Festival Friends NXG

Connected identity and content strategy to practical delivery across the website, member service and events. A single idea moved from digital touchpoints into a coherent experience for a younger generation of supporters.

Co-developed a new content strategy with Michael Hafner, redesigned the website around that model, then extended the programme into film and moving-image content.

02 / Healthcare · Campaign

Campaign strategy shaped through stakeholder workshops, then carried into direct mail, website and landing-page redesign, social media and animated content.

06 / Strategy · Content systems · Integrated delivery

Content strategy built into the delivery

Two distinct engagements that began with audiences and content rather than a visual layer applied afterwards. I led the work from strategy and structure through to production across channels.

03 About

Founder’s ownership.
Director’s perspective.
Designer’s eye.

I am a senior creative and studio leader with more than 25 years’ experience across the UK and Europe.

I founded and ran an independent multidisciplinary practice with responsibility for commercial performance, budgets, resourcing, clients and external partner networks. Alongside that, I have spent more than a decade as an embedded strategic creative partner within a national organisation undergoing significant growth and change.

My work spans science, culture, politics, education, healthcare and commercial organisations. I am interested in the point where creative judgement, content, technology and operations meet – and in building the systems that let ambitious work happen repeatedly.

Today I work through Land–Marks and am open to senior creative leadership roles and selected consulting commissions.
